Mallory Schwark, BS (she/her)
Team Support Specialist

Mallory moved to Flagstaff in the fall of 2023. She is originally from Northern California where she was raised in an agricultural area and often spent time outside. Mallory attended Boise State University in Boise, Idaho where she earned a Social Science Bachelor's degree and a Human Resource Management minor. During this time, she explored various hobbies, mostly outdoor activities such as rock climbing, hammocking, and kayaking. After graduating from her undergraduate program, she worked at a wilderness therapy program as a field instructor in southeast Idaho where she was trained in crisis intervention and wilderness first responder certification. After leaving Idaho, she worked at a residential treatment center for adolescents near Salt Lake City, Utah. She enjoyed learning from these work experiences as they informed her understanding of clients, their families, and different therapy modalities.

Currently, Mallory is enrolled in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Master’s program at NAU. As a full-time student, she is developing an understanding of the field of counseling and the individuals that she would like to work with in her future career. She is interested in working with adolescents (14+) and adults, in addition to families and couples.

When she's not studying or supporting the BtP Crew, Mallory can be found cooking up new recipes in the kitchen, reading a good book, and meeting new people. She also enjoys exploring the great outdoors of Northern Arizona and the vast landscapes in search of the perfect hammock spot.
